Stantec in Edinburgh or Glasgow is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme. You will be part of a market-leading Community Development discipline, contributing to major infrastructure and highways projects across Scotland.

Based in a collaborative Civil Engineering team, you will gain exposure to feasibility, concept design, detailed design and construction, developing skills in highway alignment, drainage design and project delivery while building a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering mandatory.
• Strong interest in Infrastructure sector and civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in concept, preliminary and detailed scheme designs.
• Prepare design reports, specifications and technical notes.
• Complete engineering design work and calculations, including 3D design models.
• Research latest technologies to minimise environmental impact.
• Assist in Health & Safety risk management and mitigation.
• Prepare cost estimates and support value engineering within constraints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from other organisations and disciplines.
• Support project management to monitor programme, cost and risk.
