Job summary

Stantec in the UK is recruiting a Graduate Civil Engineer for the Edinburgh or Glasgow office. You will work within the Buildings discipline, supporting design, reporting, site visits and stakeholder collaboration while developing professional qualifications.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, learn through hands-on project experience, and progress towards IEng or CEng with ICE as part of our commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BEng Civil Engineering is required.
• Interest in working in Buildings sector.
• Willingness to contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concept to scheme design, modelling, detailed design and drawings.
• Prepare reports and provide guidance to clients and project teams.
• Undertake STEM engagement activities.
• Liaise with internal and external teams; build relationships and communication skills.
• Manage own workload to meet project deadlines.
• Engage with wider C&S division to share best practices and support initiatives.
• Attend meetings, take minutes and distribute actions.
• Attend sites for inspections and walkovers; support site activities.
