Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking two Graduate Civil Engineers to join the 2027 Early Careers programme in the UK. You will gain hands-on experience on major infrastructure projects, taking on real responsibility from day one while developing technical, commercial and leadership skills alongside experienced colleagues.

Roles are based in the Southport/Liverpool and Blackpool/Preston regions, with site visits and a mix of site and office work throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 2:2 honours.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Graduate scheme with hands-on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of civil engineering projects across design, planning and construction phases.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, models and technical information to support project delivery.
• Review, analyse and contribute to design outputs ensuring alignment with standards and requirements.
• Assist with developing and implementing engineering solutions meeting project, customer and regulatory needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (2:2)
