Kier Group in Salford, Manchester is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team, starting in September 2027. This permanent, full‑time 2‑year programme leads to an assistant level role with a salary potential of CIRCA £38k.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will support project teams on infrastructure projects, assist with planning and documentation, and contribute to safe surveying and setting out. Mentorship and hands‑on training are provided.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering ICE accredited or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrate motivation to pursue a career in civil engineering and construction.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt based on feedback.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsabilidades

• Support project teams in identifying and resolving engineering, surveying and construction challenges, providing technical input where required.
• Assist with project planning, documentation, work package plans and engineering deliverables.
• Ensure surveying, setting out, monitoring and utility survey activities are delivered safely and accurately.
• Promote health, safety and environmental performance through site inspections and safety tours.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and operational teams to ensure timely delivery of project activities and quality outputs.
