Job summary

Hikvision UK & Ireland is seeking an After-sales engineer for our Hinckley site. You will report to the RMA repair center manager and perform functional tests on board and system level products while training new engineers.

The role requires reading schematics and basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot board failures and provide detailed reports to customers. Responsibilities include setup of repair/test equipment, adherence to work instructions, and compliance with safety and production

Qualifications

• Experience performing functional tests on board and system level products.
• Ability to train new on-board engineers.
• Reading schematics, datasheets and written work instructions.
• Basic networking knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Follows all corporate, safety and production procedures and regulations and maintains a clean and orderly workstation.
• Reading and understanding schematics, datasheets and written work instructions.
• Chinese & English language ability to read, write, and speak.

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional tests of board and system level products
• Give training to new on-board engineers
• Test and troubleshoot board failures and provide proper report to customer
• Performs some-what complex tasks in preparation for repair and testing
• Is able to verify assembly documentation for accuracy, read engineering drawings etc.

• Electronics background certification
• Experience using test instruments like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc. Basic Networking knowledge required
• Reading and understanding schematics, datasheets and written work instructions
• Chinese & English language ability to read, write, and speak
