Orion Electrotech - Engineering & Technical is seeking a Graduate Business Development Representative to join a growing team focused on developing optical inspection and microscopy solutions for manufacturers worldwide.

The role combines technical understanding with business development, offering training, progression and exposure to Salesforce and digital lead generation as the company expands its sales development function.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Technology or related discipline.
• At least 12 months' relevant experience from placement or post-graduate role.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Research prospective customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Outreach via phone, email and professional networking channels.
• Qualify opportunities and book demonstrations for the field sales team.
• Follow up inbound enquiries and support lead development activities.
• Work with sales colleagues to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities.

The business is investing heavily in its sales development function, introducing Salesforce and placing greater emphasis on digital engagement and lead generation to support future growth.

As a Graduate Business Development Representative, you'll be joining a growing team where training, development and progression are encouraged. This opportunity would suit a graduate with at least one year's relevant experience gained through an industrial placement, year-in-industry programme or post-graduate employment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Researching prospective customers and identifying new business opportunities
• Conducting outbound outreach through phone, email and professional networking channels
• Qualifying opportunities and booking demonstrations for the field sales team
• Following up inbound enquiries and supporting lead development activities
• Working closely with sales colleagues to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities

• Salary: £26,000 - £32,000
• Additional performance/target related bonus (IRO £5,000 to £8,000)
