Job summary

JLL in Exeter is offering a Graduate Building Surveyor APC programme designed to fast‑track you toward Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS). Over 2–3 years you will gain experience in professional and project work with dedicated APC support from qualified surveyors.

You’ll participate in inspections, client meetings, and reports while developing key competencies and CPD. You’ll learn from a team of Chartered Building Surveyors, receive mentoring, and benefit from a competitive salary with

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited) is required.
• Interest in the property industry and shaping its future.
• Clear verbal and written communication for writing reports.
• Strong time management for a fast-paced consultancy.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Curiosity to learn and grow with the team.
• Desire to contribute ideas and challenge yourself.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of building surveying tasks and projects.
• Attend client meetings alongside experienced surveyors from the outset.
• Visit properties to complete inspections and carry out desktop research.
• Prepare reports including due diligence, defect analysis and maintenance plans.
• Assist with schedules of dilapidations and tender analyses.
• Support Contract Administrator on construction projects and site inspections.
• Coordinate portfolio instructions and maintain CPD records.
• Benefit from clear career progression toward chartership.
