Job summary

Currie & Brown Group Limited is offering graduate opportunities in building surveying in our Leeds team. You will support project leaders in delivering high-quality service, capturing knowledge across projects, and reinforcing our reputation for innovation as a preferred provider.

The role covers design and specification, clerk of works, contract administration and building surveys. You will work with project teams, communicate effectively, and progress through the APC programme toward chartered

Qualifications

• BSc in building surveying or equivalent.
• Good technical writing and communication skills (internal and external).
• Experience in higher education, local government and healthcare sectors beneficial.
• Developing skills in project management, EPCs/FRAs, repairs and maintenance and condition assessment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments.
• Working as a proactive team player.
• Maintaining effective communication to ensure information is available for successful completion of projects and liaising with managers for efficient financial control.
• Delivering all outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
• Representing the company professionally; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong relationships.
• Supporting senior managers in day-to-day running of the business.
• Maintaining commercial and quality control procedures for projects under your control.
• Managing relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues.
• Conducting individual study towards achieving chartered surveyor status.
