Job summary

CIBSE Journal in Birmingham is seeking a Junior / Trainee Building Services Engineer (Electrical Design). This office–based role offers hands–on experience, training, and exposure to electrical design projects using AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech.

You will undertake site visits, develop your technical skills, and progress toward a fully funded degree while joining a supportive team. Hours are 37.5 per week with hybrid working options and clear progression to Associate level.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate or college leaver with electrical background.
• Interest in building services and electrical design.
• Willing to train toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical drawings/designs using AutoCAD / Revit / Amtech.
• Carry out site visits / surveys.
• Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm.
• Opportunity for fully funded degree level training.
