Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior / Trainee Building Services Engineer (Electrical Design) in Birmingham. You will start in an entry-level role with full training, working on electrical design projects and gaining hands-on experience.

You will learn to produce drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech, undertake site visits and surveys, and benefit from a funded degree and clear progression to Associate level within a family‑like, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate or college leaver with an electrical background.
• Background in electrical engineering or design.
• Willing to undertake funded degree-level training.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical drawings/designs using AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech.
• Carry out site visits and surveys.
• Work 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
• Support progression towards Associate level.
