Job summary

CIBSE Journal in Birmingham is seeking a Junior / Trainee Building Services Engineer (Electrical Design). This office–based role offers hands–on experience, training, and exposure to electrical design projects using AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech.

You will undertake site visits, develop your technical skills, and progress toward a fully funded degree while joining a supportive team. Hours are 37.5 per week with hybrid working options and clear progression to Associate level.

Are you an engineering graduate/college leaver with an electrical background looking to transition into the world of design, kickstarting your career within building services, joining a company who will support your training and development, with the ability to gain a fully funded HNC/degree in Building Services?

In this office–based role, you will work on a range of electrical design projects for the building services industry, receiving training and support from an experienced team. You will also carry out site visits and surveys, giving you hands–on experience and the chance to develop your technical skills.
