Responsibilities

• Supervise junior engineers and review design quality.
• Manage projects within design, schedule and cost constraints.
• Design across diverse buildings: schools, offices, leisure, gov facilities, industrial.
• Prepare specifications, reports, drawings.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients and contractors.
• Conduct site surveys and condition surveys as appropriate.
• Promote sustainable design wherever possible.
• Participate in design quality reviews and audits.
• Maintain records to company standards.
• Manage own workload and mentor junior staff.
• Support staff development and inter-discipline collaboration.
• Monitor legislation and Building Regulations; implement updates.
• Contribute to fee estimates and bids.
• Support wider business activity and innovation.
• Perform ad hoc duties per management system.
