Mott MacDonald is offering a Graduate Building Physics Engineer position in London, designed to develop technical expertise with mentorship and designed learning paths. You will work with engineers, architects and clients across projects that improve energy efficiency and climate resilience.

From day one, you’ll contribute ideas in a multidisciplinary team and benefit from a structured development programme including a three-year early careers path and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed disciplines obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected to achieve one of them.

Responsibilities

• Support the thermal modelling of buildings to evaluate comfort, energy performance and carbon impacts.
• Help design teams identify practical solutions to improve building performance and wellbeing.
• Assist with qualitative building performance assessments during early design stages.
