Job summary

Amey is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer in Sheffield. You’ll join a team delivering UK and international projects on infrastructure, learning from industry experts from day one and contributing to sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures.

You’ll undertake analyses, develop 3D models and technical documents, and participate in inspections, design and asset management activities while benefiting from a structured learning programme and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1)
• An interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
