Amey in Manchester is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to start September 2027. You will join a team delivering UK infrastructure projects and gain hands-on experience from day one.

You’ll undertake structural analysis, develop 3D models and prepare technical documents while supporting inspections and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1).
• An interest in bridges / civil structures.
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations and health monitoring.
• Contribute to data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
