Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Bridges and Structures group and seeks ambitious Civil & Structural Engineering graduates. You will work on a range of projects from concept design to implementation, supporting clients locally, nationally or internationally.

The role offers hybrid work models, with opportunities to develop skills across design, assessment and renewal works. Graduates will gain exposure to industry-leading software, mentorship, and a structured development programme while progressing

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with 2:1 or above.
• MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be advantageous.
• Structural/Bridge engineering experience would be an advantage.
• Demonstrate good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Willing to work towards ICE or IStructE chartership.
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues, both verbal and written.
• Enthusiastic, hard-working, with ambition and drive.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of bridges from inception to completion.
• Undertake assessment of existing structures at various stages.
• Manage resources and tasks within a scheme of structures.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Support on-site works supervision and scheme management.
