Job summary

AECOM is seeking graduates for the Cambridge-based Graduate Bridge Structures Engineer role, part of our Bridges and Structures team. You will contribute to design from inception through to implementation for UK and international clients, with opportunities to work across global locations and diverse projects.

The programme focuses on developing technical skills, project delivery, and professional growth, with mentoring and structured training throughout the GDP.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with 2:1 or above.
• MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
• Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in this industry.

Responsibilities

• Structural Design across concept to completion.
• Bridge Assessment and structural inspections.
• Finite Elements Analysis.
• Structures Renewal Feasibility Studies.
• On-site Works Supervision and Scheme Management.
