Job summary

AECOM invites graduates to join its Bridges and Structures team in London for a comprehensive GDP. You will contribute to design, assessment and renewal projects across the UK and international clients, gaining exposure to multiple disciplines within a global firm.

The programme offers mentoring, formal development modules, and hands-on experience on high-profile projects, with a balancing hybrid work model and opportunities for chartership progress.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 or above.
• MEng or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
• Structural modules or Bridge Engineering experience would be an advantage.
• Good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Willing to work towards ICE/IStructE chartership.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Structural design for bridge projects from concept to completion.
• Bridge assessment and evaluation services.
• Finite element analysis and structural modelling.
• Structural inspections and renewal feasibility studies.
• On-site works supervision and scheme management.
