Job summary

National Gas is recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager Graduate to join the Major Programmes team in Peterborough and Warwick. Based at Peterborough Compressor Station, you’ll gain hands-on experience delivering a major infrastructure project, from design through to delivery, while working with engineers, contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM-related subject; engineering disciplines preferred.
• Proven ability to organize projects and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork across diverse groups.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in project management.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and coordination activities.
• Assist with project reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Support budget tracking and cost activities.
• Identify and track project risks, actions and issues.
• Attend project and contractor meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
