Job summary

National Gas in Wormington, Warwick and Nottingham offers an 18-month Assistant Project Manager Graduate programme focused on Major Programmes. You will gain hands-on experience delivering major infrastructure projects, working with engineers, contractors and stakeholders across multiple locations.

You will develop skills in project planning, reporting, budgeting and risk management while rotating through design and delivery phases.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM-related subject or equivalent; engineering degrees are beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop a career in project management.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and coordination activities.
• Help manage project documentation and information.
• Assist with project reporting and updates for stakeholders.
• Support budget tracking and project cost activities.
• Help identify and track project risks, actions and issues.
• Attend project meetings and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
• Work with colleagues and contractors across locations to keep projects on track.
• Build understanding of design to delivery within engineering projects.
