Job summary

National Gas is offering an 18-month fixed-term graduate programme based at the Felindre Compressor Site. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the Major Programmes team, supporting the Felindre Control Systems Replacement Project and wider portfolio while learning through live projects.

You’ll work with engineers, site teams and contractors, developing planning, reporting and risk management skills for a future career in project management. Regular travel and a UK driving licence are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject is required or on track to achieve.
• Experience gained through industrial placement or internships is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are important for coordinating major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and coordination activities.
• Help organise project meetings and track actions.
• Monitor progress and prepare updates for stakeholders.
• Support reporting and decision-making activities.
• Work with project teams, contractors and operations colleagues to keep projects on track.
• Assist with risk management, schedules and milestones.
• Support site activities and learn how infrastructure projects are delivered safely.
