Job summary

National Gas invites graduates to join its 18-month fixed-term Assistant Project Manager Graduate programme, based on the Hatton Project near Lincoln. You’ll work with experienced teams on the Control Systems Replacement Programme, gaining hands-on experience from planning to delivery while relocating to on-site environments and traveling as required.

You’ll develop project management, communication and problem-solving skills in a dynamic infrastructure setting, with mentoring and opportunities

Qualifications

• Organising projects, events or group activities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting project planning and coordination activities.
• Helping organise project meetings and track actions.
• Monitoring project progress and preparing updates for stakeholders.
• Supporting risk, budget and schedule tracking activities.
• Working with project teams, contractors and operational colleagues to help keep projects on track.
• Visiting project sites to gain first-hand experience of how infrastructure projects are delivered.
