This client is a family-owned global business that specializes in companion animal nutraceuticals—non-drug substances aimed at improving the health & well-being of animals.
Their products support companion animals in categories such as joints, gastrointestinal health, internal organs, skin/coat, and brain/behavior.
Over 90% of their products are produced in-house at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, with a presence in over 40 countries worldwide.
What does the role consist of?
As an Area Sales Manager, you will cover a geographical territory across the Bristol area, ideally residing in or near Bristol. The first 42 weeks include comprehensive training, with some on-patch, virtual, and on-site at HQ in Lytham (fully expensed).
Daily activities typically include 3-4 meetings, focusing on acquiring new business and servicing existing accounts. You will represent the full range of nutraceuticals, selling into independent veterinary practices.
The company promotes from within; past graduates in this role have advanced to positions such as UK National Sales Manager, Business Unit Manager for Western Europe, and Northern Regional Sales Manager.
