Job summary

Aon is offering an Insurance Actuarial Consulting & Reinsurance Analytics Graduate Programme in London for soon-to-be graduates. You will develop into a credentialed actuary applying quantitative techniques, data, and professional judgement to help clients understand and manage financial risk.

You will receive professional study support, on‑the‑job learning, exposure to AI-enabled tools, data modelling and scenario analysis.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a 2:1 degree or equivalent in maths, actuarial science, economics, engineering, physics or another highly numerical discipline.
• A grade or above in Maths A-level, Maths Higher, or international equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Building and running models for pricing, reserving, capital and profitability, including reviewing AI-pre-populated baselines where relevant.
• Configuring and challenging assumptions as calculation activity becomes increasingly automated.
• Conducting data and risk analysis to identify patterns, test scenarios and validate outputs against actuarial principles.
• Supporting profitability, insurance and reinsurance pricing, reserving, capital, catastrophe, exposure and risk-transfer analysis.
• Drafting precise reports, summaries and presentations that communicate complex technical findings clearly and meet governance and financial reporting standards.
• Supporting senior actuaries in client meetings by translating methodology and technical analysis into a clear narrative.
• Contributing to actuarial research, process improvement and technology-enabled ways of working including responsible use of AI-enabled outputs and offshore delivery workflows where appropriate.
