Aon is offering a Summer Internship Programme in Insurance Actuarial Consulting & Reinsurance Analytics for penultimate-year students. Start date 21 June 2027; closing date 7 December 2026.

You will learn to apply quantitative techniques, data, models and judgement to help clients understand and manage financial risk. The internship provides on-the-job learning, structured development via Launch Programme, and potential progression to our graduate programme.

Formación

• You will need to be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree in maths, actuarial science, economics, engineering, physics or another highly numerical discipline.
• You will also need to have achieved an A grade or above in Maths A-level, an A grade in Maths Scottish Higher, or an international equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Building and running models for pricing, reserving, capital and profitability, including reviewing AI-pre-populated baselines where relevant.
• Conducting data and risk analysis to identify patterns, test scenarios and validate outputs against actuarial principles.
• Supporting insurance and reinsurance pricing, reserving, capital, catastrophe, exposure and risk-transfer analysis.
• Drafting clear reports, summaries and presentations that communicate technical findings effectively.
• Supporting client meetings and helping translate methodology and technical analysis into a clear narrative.
• Contributing to actuarial research, process improvement and responsible, technology-enabled ways of working.
