Job summary

Aon in London offers a Summer Internship in Insurance Actuarial Consulting & Reinsurance Analytics for penultimate-year students. You will apply quantitative techniques, data, models and professional judgement to help clients understand and manage financial risk.

No prior actuarial expert status required. You will join either STG within Insurance Actuarial Consulting or the Reinsurance Analytics team, work with experienced consultants, and develop technical and consulting skills on AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Aiming for a 2:1 degree or equivalent in maths, actuarial science, economics, engineering, physics or another numerical discipline.
• Penultimate-year students are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Build and run models for pricing, reserving, capital and profitability.
• Conduct data and risk analysis to identify patterns and validate outputs.
• Support insurance and reinsurance pricing, reserving and risk transfer analyses.
• Draft clear reports and presentations communicating technical findings.
• Assist in client meetings and translate methodology into a clear narrative.
