You will commission, verify, and validate linear accelerators and subsystems, and contribute to product quality assurance and root cause analysis within a security scanning environment. The role involves documenting testing, feeding back performance insights, and collaborating on R&D activities to align with the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Physics or Engineering, with an experimental background.
• Proficiency in Excel and MATLAB for data analysis.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Commission, verify, and validate linear accelerators and associated components.
• Provide technical feedback on accelerator performance to the research team and wider business unit.
• Maintain accurate records of system and subsystem testing using appropriate tracking tools; support documentation release into Agile.
• Collaborate on design and development activities aligned with the R&D roadmap.
