Job summary

KPI Education is recruiting Graduate Academic Mentors across Hertfordshire secondary schools. You’ll use your subject knowledge to run 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping GCSE students improve revision strategies and attainment.

Full-time, fixed-term for 1 academic year with potential extensions. Ideal for graduates considering teaching, education, or other roles supporting young people.

Qualifications

• Graduates with 2:1 or First-Class degree and a strong academic record.
• Excellent experience before teacher training or PGCE is desirable.
• Ability to explain ideas, motivate pupils and act as a credible academic role model.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions.
• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4, with some KS5 opportunities.
• Help GCSE students with revision, subject knowledge and examination technique.
• Contribute to pupils' knowledge gaps, confidence and attainment.
