Job summary

Step Into Teaching Limited in Sutton, Greater London, is offering a Graduate Learning Mentor role designed for recent graduates who want classroom experience before pursuing teacher training. You will support students, assist with learning activities, and gain hands-on experience in a school environment.

The successful candidate will hold a 2:2 degree or higher, demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and strong communication to help SEND students and promote positive behaviour.

Step Into Teaching is offering a Graduate Learning Mentor role in one of our long-standing partner school's in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Support students in their learning and development
• Gain hands‑on experience in the classroom
• Build skills for a future career in teaching, SEN support, or educational psychology.

Who are Step into Teaching?

We are a pre‑teacher training programme that is designed to support and encourage graduates alike yourself to choose teaching. We will provide you with one years' worth of practical school-based experience that is essential foundation for a long-lasting successful career in teaching. This experience will allow you to qualify for teacher training in the future but also this will give you insight into whether teaching is for you.
