Job summary

Step Into Teaching Limited is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor for a long-standing partner secondary school in Sutton. This is an excellent chance for recent graduates to gain classroom experience and support students across mainstream settings.

You will work Monday to Friday, ASAP start, term-time only, earning £560–£570 per week. The role focuses on pastoral support, SEND inclusion, and helping students reach their potential, with DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree with a 2:2 or above.
• Be supportive, friendly and approachable.
• Deliver well‑structured support sessions to individuals and prepare classroom materials.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND students across mainstream settings.
• Promote positive behaviour pastorally.
• Provide pastoral support within the school.
• Full‑time role: Monday - Friday.
• ASAP Start.

We are a pre-teacher training programme that is designed to support and encourage graduates alike yourself to choose teaching. We will provide you with one years' worth of practical school-based experience that is essential foundation for a long-lasting successful career in teaching. This experience will allow you to qualify for teacher training in the future but also this will give you insight into whether teaching is for you.
