Job summary

Step Into Teaching is seeking a proactive graduate to join as a Graduate Academic Coach in Hereford. You will support students during class activities, run small groups and 1:1 sessions, and assist the class teacher with lesson preparation.

A 2:2 or above degree is required; roles run full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a salary of £500-£530 per week. This is ideal for graduates considering a career in education and SEND support.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a 2:2 or above Honours degree are required.
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths or Science at GCSE level.
• Willing to work as part of a large school team and with SEND students.

Responsibilities

• Manage students during class-based activities and lead small groups.
• Deliver 1:1 sessions and assist with lesson preparation.
• Support SEND students and contribute to a positive learning environment.

In this role, you will focus on managing students during class-based activities. Additionally, you will be required to work with small groups both inside and outside the classroom and lead 1:1 sessions. Furthermore, you will be required to assist the class teacher in preparing and setting up class activities. You will also be supporting SEND students.
