Step Into Teaching Limited is supporting a college in Leamington seeking a Maths Graduate Academic Coach to start September 2026. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a weekly pay of £500–£530 for qualified graduates.

You will deliver targeted maths coaching to GCSE students and work closely with teaching staff. We welcome graduates with a maths degree (2:2 or above) who are enthusiastic about improving educational outcomes and who can communicate clearly and motivate

• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and curriculum content.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

• Provide targeted academic support to students preparing for GCSE Mathematics resits.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group coaching sessions tailored to students’ needs.
• Support students in developing core mathematical skills, including number, algebra, ratio, proportion, geometry and statistics.
• Help students develop exam techniques, revision strategies and time-management skills.
• Identify gaps in students’ knowledge through diagnostic assessment and progress monitoring.
• Work closely with Maths teaching staff to complement classroom teaching and GCSE curriculum requirements.

Key responsibilities for your role:

• Provide targeted academic support to students preparing for GCSE Mathematics resits.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group coaching sessions tailored to students’ individual learning needs, abilities and areas for development.
• Support students in developing core mathematical skills, including number, algebra, ratio, proportion, geometry, statistics and problem-solving.
• Help students develop effective exam techniques, revision strategies and time-management skills.
• Identify gaps in students’ mathematical knowledge through diagnostic assessment, questioning and regular progress monitoring.
• Work closely with Maths teaching staff to ensure coaching activities complement classroom teaching and GCSE curriculum requirements.
