Job description

A Main civil engineering contractor is seeking a Grad / Site Engineer to support projects and senior engineers.

My client is looking for a driven, hungry graduate who is eager to join an established business working on some of the most prestigious schemes in the UK.

You must be competent in using Civil 3D, Revit, etc.

As a Grad / Site Engineer, you will:

1. Produce Task Briefing Sheets
2. Contribute to the production of Permit to Dig, including briefing the workforce
3. Carry out Safety Inspections
4. Set out from primary control provided by others
5. Provide sketches detailing the setting out information installed
6. Read and interpret information from drawings, schedules, and specifications

Who we're looking for, you will have the following qualities:

1. The ability to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure compliance
2. Capability to take ownership of tasks and communicate outcomes effectively
3. A strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights
4. Hold a current driving license and CSCS Card
5. Environmental awareness
6. Experience in setting out
