Job Description

A main civil engineering contractor is seeking a Graduate / Site Engineer to support projects and senior engineers. My client is looking for a driven, hungry graduate who is eager to join an established business working on some of the most prestigious schemes in the UK. You must be competent in using Civil 3D, Revit, etc.

As a Graduate / Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Production of Task Briefing Sheets
2. Contribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing to the workforce
3. Carrying out safety inspections
4. Setting out from primary control provided by others
5. The provision of sketches detailing the setting out information installed
6. Reading and interpreting information from drawings, schedules, and specifications

Who we're looking for:

• Ability to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure these are followed accurately
• Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes
• Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights
• Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card
• Environmental awareness
• Experience in setting out
