Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks motivated interns for RTL Design, RTL Power Optimisation and Physical Design within the UK GPU team. Roles based in London, St Albans, or Cambridge, with start windows in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027.

Applicants should be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering and be prepared to return to school after the internship. Interns will collaborate with design and verification teams, balance power and area with performance goals, and gain hands-on

Qualifications

• Strong coding skills in C/C++ for hardware/software internships.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Perl/Ruby).
• Interest in GPU/CPU architecture and micro-architecture.

Responsibilities

• Assist RTL Design, RTL Power Optimisation and Physical Design teams.
• Contribute to energy, timing and area goals while meeting project schedules.
