Job summary

Apple Inc. invites motivated students for GPU Internships in Design Verification and Emulation & Driver Live. Positions are available in London, St Albans, or Cambridge with Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 start dates.

Interns will build verification test benches, model GPUs, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-performance hardware. You must be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD and return to school after the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• At internship end, you must return to school to continue your education or graduation is the final requirement.
• Strong coding skills with C or C++.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Curiosity about GPU/CPU/SOC architecture and micro-architecture.
• Knowledge of scripting languages Perl, Python or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Design Verification by creating verification plans and test benches.
• Develop verification environments, stimulate real-world scenarios and ensure designs are robust.
• Work with architects/designers to identify issues early in the design cycle and debug.
• Contribute to Emulation & Driver Live work including GPU models and automation portal tooling.
