Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced RTL Design Engineer for its UK GPU Design Centre. You will refine GPU micro-architectural specifications, implement efficient designs across modern nodes, and coordinate with architecture, verification and physical design teams to ensure QoR and robust integration.

You will review reports, resolve timing and power issues, and work through full design cycles from concept to simulation and debugging in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with RTL design for large-scale IP blocks.
• Strong background in computer architecture and GPU-related blocks.
• Experience with energy-efficient design and low-power techniques.
• Proficiency in synthesis, timing analysis and design verification.
• Excellent collaboration and communication under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Refine GPU micro-architectural specifications with peers.
• Implement micro-architecture for cutting-edge nodes balancing performance, power and area.
• Review synthesis and power reports; diagnose timing/power issues.
• Collaborate with architecture, physical design and verification teams.
• Simulate, debug and verify designs within system context.
