Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Project Manager to support mental health transformation across Gloucestershire. This fixed-term 18-month post focuses on planning, risk and budget management, and presenting findings up to Board level.

The role requires extensive project management experience, a recognised qualification, and the ability to lead workshops and large groups with NHS stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, develop and adjust project plans and strategies.

• Convene and manage project teams on mental health transformation projects.
• Investigate causes of variance from project plans and help implement solutions.
• Manage the project register, risk and issues tracking, and escalation processes.
• Produce monthly governance and monitoring reports in line with the project methodology.
• Lead and present to large groups, and negotiate with groups and services delivering projects.
• Link work to other change initiatives and monitor delivery against targets, including performance improvement across the GPP.

Job description

The Project Manager sits within the Gloucestershire Provider Partnership and supports mental health transformation projects across Gloucestershire. It is a fixed-term post of 18 months with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The work centres on planning and running projects, managing risks and budgets, and presenting findings to groups up to Board level. The post offers full-time hours with flexible and home or remote working, and the person specification asks for a recognised project management qualification.

What the job involves
