Job summary

St Thomas Surgery in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, invites applications for a motivated GP to join the friendly team on 4 to 6 sessions per week. Positions available as salaried GP or salaried with a view to partnership, with salary by negotiation.

The practice is well-established, supports training, and offers flexible working arrangements, protected teaching sessions and mentorship for newly qualified GPs.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in primary care.
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification and GMC registration.
• MRCGP or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Providing appropriate treatment, prescribing and referral.
• Working collaboratively with the wider practice and multidisciplinary team.
• Participating in clinical meetings and practice development.
• Contributing to the education and training of students and trainees, where appropriate.
• Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, governance and patient confidentiality.
