Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience plus £1000 home-working allowance

Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time - 40 hours/week

Location: Home-based with occasional UK travel

Role Overview

The GP Relationship Manager will focus on strengthening relationships with GPs, a key stakeholder group, to enhance collaboration and referral pathways. This role aims to transition from transactional interactions to strategic partnerships, supporting Psychiatry UK’s growth and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of GPs’ needs, challenges, and referral influence to inform strategic decisions.
• Design and implement strategies to enhance Psychiatry UK’s reputation among GPs, including marketing, engagement, and pathway improvements.
• Increase referral volumes through targeted initiatives like campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to improve referral quality and patient experience.
• Support patient safety initiatives and develop risk assessment models in partnership with GPs.
• Track KPIs to measure success and inform continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

We seek a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a professional presence. You should be capable of building trust, influencing decisions, and representing Psychiatry UK effectively.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Deep understanding of GPs’ challenges, gained through experience in primary care.

• Experience as a practicing GP or in GP practice management.
• Track record of achieving measurable targets like referral growth.
