Job summary

ACE Medical Partnership in Birmingham is seeking a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our busy GP practice, primarily at Birmingham Heartlands Surgery. This part-time role offers 20 or 24 hours per week with a competitive salary and access to the NHS Pension Scheme.

You will work with GPs, nurses and the wider team to deliver high-quality patient care, performing phlebotomy, ECGs, NHS Health Checks and other clinical duties within your competency and training.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a general practice or healthcare setting.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy, ECGs and monitoring duties to support GPs and nurses.
• Competent in EMIS Web and Docman for clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking phlebotomy and running phlebotomy clinics.
• Recording blood pressure, pulse, height, weight and BMI.
• Performing and recording ECGs.
