Job summary

Operose Health is seeking a General Practitioner to join Cricketfield Surgery in Newton Abbot. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care, participating in governance, and supporting service improvement within bank-hour arrangements.

The ideal candidate holds GMC registration, GP accreditation (MRCGP), and a strong knowledge of QOF/CQUINs. Experience with SystmOne or EMISweb is desirable in this NHS primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration and NHS performers list.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP) or equivalent.
• Commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
• Strong knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and coding.
• Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered at the GP surgery and collaborate with clinical leads to support the surgery's operational plan.
• Maintain quality standards and participate in clinical governance, audits, QOF, and other required standards (CQC).
• Provide care as per the job plan including in-person and video consultations, triage, results, reviews and on-call within the defined scope.
• Adhere to GMC standards and prioritise patient care.
• Support development and review of the surgery action plan with management and clinical leads.
