About us

Bridegale Primary Care Network is made up of GP registered patient lists for Roslea Surgery, Riverside Medical Centre, Lostock Hall Medical Centre, New Longton Surgery and the Ryan Medical Centre. We serve a community of around 36,000 people. We are small enough to provide the personal care valued by our people and large enough to have impact and economies of scale through better collaboration.

As a Primary Care Network we are working hard to deliver on the national NHS England network contract that commenced in July 2019 and continues to March 2024.

This includes the following areas of focus:

  • anticipatory care
  • cardiovascular disease prevention and diagnosis
  • enhancing health in care homes
  • early diagnosis of cancer
  • tackling neighbourhood inequalities
  • structured medication reviews
  • social prescribing reviews

So as a primary care network, with its member practices working ever closer together, it is important to establish shared core values which not only enables us to adapt, but to do so in the way that we all feel is right for our patients and staff.
