Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a seasoned consultant to manage government relationships and align Elastic to strategic outcomes in the Public Sector. You will collaborate with services, engineering and sales, owning the roadmap and delivering mission-critical integrations.

You will work from a distributed setup with on-site client engagements, while developing demos and scalable data solutions using Elasticsearch and Lucene. Security clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Consultant delivering professional services.
• Current UK security clearance or willingness to obtain clearance.
• Experience instructing or presenting to large audiences on enterprise software.
• Ability to gather, prioritise, plan and execute customer requirements.
• Knowledge of open-source tech and at least one programming language.
• Hands-on experience with large distributed systems and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder relationships at government level and align Elastic to strategic objectives.
• Own the strategic roadmap with customers, including quarterly sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and integrate Elastic products, APIs, and architectures in mission-critical environments.
• Develop demos and proofs-of-concept to showcase Elastic Stack value.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support to identify feature enhancements.
• Engage with the Sales team to scope opportunities and assess risks.
