Job summary

Castle Phoenix Trust is seeking a Governance Support and Central Operations Administrator to join our team at the Head Office. The role involves clerking panels at our schools, recording proceedings, and advising on governance processes.

You will support the Head of Central Operations and Central Team Leaders, help run administrative functions, and receive full training to develop governance and panel administration skills. Travel to schools is required.

Governance Support and Central Operations Administrator

Castle Phoenix Trust Grade 4 FTE £25,989 - Pro rata based on working 18 hours, 39 weeks per year £10,97118 hours across the week (based at our Trust offices with travel to schools)– exact hours to be agreed – with flexibility for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting governance and panel processes, attending and clerking a variety of panels across our schools, accurately recording and advising on proceedings and providing administrative support to ensure these operate effectively and in line with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Alongside these responsibilities the postholder will provide administrative support to the Head of Central Operations and Central Team Leaders, helping to ensure the efficient day to day running of Trust administrative functions.
  • Full training will be provided to equip the successful candidate with the knowledge and skills required to support governance processes and panel administration effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organisational abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • You will have proven experience of accurately taking minutes in formal meetings or panels and be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, communicating professionally at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and discretion must be adhered to at all times, alongside a demonstration of commitment to delivering high quality administrative support.

Location

The role is based at our Head Office at Caludon Castle School but involves travelling to schools within our Trust for panel meetings.
