Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc in the UK is seeking a Governance Manager to lead the governance framework around VodafoneThree’s supplier relationships and Joint Ventures. You will oversee internal and contractual governance, ensuring robust controls, compliance, and effective decision-making across networks and procurement teams.

You will work with senior stakeholders to drive governance excellence, manage risks, and continuously improve governance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating governance frameworks within commercial/supplier environments.
• Strong understanding of contractual governance and compliance controls.
• Experience identifying and mitigating governance or contractual risks.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; translating data to insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering process improvements and stronger governance controls.
• Understanding of confidentiality/information governance in multi-party orgs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve governance frameworks, processes, controls and reporting.
• Provide governance oversight for supplier, partner and JV agreements; ensure compliance.
• Own governance reporting and MI for senior stakeholders on compliance, risks and trends.
• Develop understanding of governance frameworks; advise operational teams for decisions.
• Drive accountability for governance compliance across teams; monitor obligations and delivery.
• Identify, manage and escalate governance and contractual risks with mitigation plans.
• Lead governance forums with suppliers and internal stakeholders; manage actions and dependencies.
• Continuously improve governance processes and controls for efficiency and transparency.
• Act as governance lead for JV confidentiality; maintain controls and guidance.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding governance for employees/contractors in JV environments.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews across VodafoneThree, MBNL and related environments.
