Job summary

Close Brothers Asset Finance is seeking a governance and commissions administrator to support the Commissions Manager. You will deliver administrative and analytical support across the Governance team, focusing on commission schemes, accuracy of payments, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

You will work with senior stakeholders to design controls, generate monthly MI, and help manage risk registers. Hybrid working is available, and MS Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with key operational colleagues.
• Knowledge of risk management with familiarity with Operational and Conduct Risk.
• Knowledge of MS Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Analytical, methodical and resourceful problem-solving approach.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Ability to interpret data and respond to change.
• Track record of high-quality personal performance and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commission calculation, validation and reporting.
• Assist with control framework design and embedding.
• Produce auditable MI for senior and executive stakeholders, including monthly reporting to Sales, Finance and Group Reward.
• Act as a key interface between Governance, Risk, Finance, Operations and Sales, ensuring incentive design and execution is controlled and evidenced.
• Prepare packs and minutes for incentives committees and meetings (Sales & Incentives Working Group, Steering Committee).
• Depose for the Commissions Manager when required and represent Commissions in meetings and projects.
• Ensure Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and reporting required by Regulatory Bodies is carried out to standards.
• Manage risk registers and actively follow up outstanding actions.
