Job summary

The Clever Fish Recruitment is seeking an experienced Goods-In Supervisor to lead the inbound warehouse operation in Stokesley. The role requires flexibility to accommodate early starts when containers arrive, with 8.30am–5.00pm, Monday to Friday and transport yourself to site.

You will oversee goods-in, ensure accurate checking and recording of deliveries, manage stock integrity, and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain safety, organisation and efficiency in a busy warehouse

Qualifications

• Experience supervising goods-in or warehouse teams in a busy environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Experience using ERP/WMS systems.
• Experience managing a large number of SKU locations is beneficial.
• Counterbalance or Reach Truck forklift licence desirable; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily goods-in operation and warehouse staff.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Manage stock accuracy and inventory control.
• Investigate discrepancies, damaged goods and receiving errors.
• Coordinate unloading and storage of incoming goods.
• Maintain and optimise warehouse bin locations.
• Carry out cycle counts and stock audits.
• Record stock movements in the warehouse management system.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and warehouse housekeeping.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager.
