Goods-In Quality Inspector

We are seeking an enthusiastic Goods-In Inspector to join a well-established machinery manufacturer based in Basingstoke, due to their continued success.

Job Overview

• Carry out quality inspections of goods, including machined and fabricated parts.
• Raise non-conformance reports.
• Maintain goods inspection procedures.
• Utilise calibrated measuring equipment.
• Assist with the packaging of goods.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience with M365, computerised stock control, and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and physical fitness for lifting (up to 20kg).
• Maintain measuring equipment, including yearly calibration records.
• Clean driving license required for local collections and inspections from suppliers.

Salary & Benefits

• Permanent position, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 5-hour workweek (likely a typo, assumed 40 hours).
