Job Title: Quality Inspector (Permanent)

Location: Slough

Term: Permanent

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Slough. The role involves ensuring products are manufactured according to customer specifications and that company quality targets are achieved.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

• Mechanical inspection experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using measuring equipment
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Capable of working calmly under pressure
• Flexible, eager to learn, methodical, and a good problem solver

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect items to ensure they meet required tolerances
2. Support goods-in receiving, resolving or highlighting any discrepancies in purchase orders or physical deliveries
3. Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist in warehouse security
4. Organize and pack items for dispatch; liaise with stakeholders to meet their requirements
5. Follow team policies and procedures to ensure consistent output
6. Manage stock receipts, movements, and dispatches
7. Experience with the Faro arm is beneficial
